Showroom Appointments: What to Expect

To provide you with a personalized and dedicated experience, our showroom operates by appointment only. This ensures that we can focus entirely on your needs, guiding you through your selections, answering your questions, and delivering the highest level of service.

We kindly ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive early, we may not be available until your designated time. Likewise, if another customer’s appointment is in progress, there may be a brief wait as we are committed to giving each client our full attention.

While our showroom is not staffed for walk-in visits from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, we will be fully prepared and ready to assist you during your scheduled appointment. We appreciate your understanding that appointments allow us to provide the exceptional service and expertise you deserve.

Process and Costs

Replacement Door Projects

For replacement door projects, we begin by discussing your design preferences and available options. Next, we schedule a time for our installer to take precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit. Once the measurements are completed, we will provide you with a detailed quote, comprehensive drawings, and an estimated lead time for your order.

To make the most of your appointment, we recommend bringing the following:

Photos of your home, including the existing door and a full view of your home’s exterior.
Inspiration images or design ideas that align with your vision.

Having these materials on hand allows us to better understand your style and provide tailored recommendations.

New Construction Projects

For new construction, we can provide pricing for stock door units along with detailed shop drawings for your contractor. These drawings help ensure a smooth installation process and proper integration into your home’s design.

Important Considerations for Your New Door

Overhang Requirement: To ensure the longevity of your door and maintain its warranty, a properly sized overhang is required. The overhang should extend at least half the height from the floor to the ceiling and at least 3 feet on each side. Without adequate protection, exposure to direct sunlight, rain, and other elements can cause premature wear, warping, or damage. If this requirement cannot be met, we will be unable to proceed with your project, as we want to ensure that your investment lasts for years to come.
Finish Color: Dark, opaque colors—such as black—absorb excessive heat and UV rays, which can lead to warping, cracking, or other structural issues, ultimately voiding the warranty. To enhance durability and longevity, we recommend lighter finishes that reflect heat and minimize exposure-related wear. Choosing an appropriate finish helps preserve the beauty and integrity of your door over time.

Please ensure you fully understand these requirements before considering one of our doors. Our goal is to provide products that are not only visually stunning but also well-suited for your home’s specific conditions. We want to help you make an informed decision so that you don’t waste time selecting a product that may not be a good fit for your space. Replacement Door Costs

We believe in full transparency when considering a replacement door project. In addition to the cost of the door unit itself, there are fixed costs associated with a replacement door that are important to factor into your decision. Below is a breakdown of these costs:

Unit Cost: The price of the door unit will vary based on your home’s measurements. In some cases, a standard stock door may be suitable, while in others, modifications or a fully custom door may be required. We will determine the best option for your project after reviewing the measurements.
Staining: The cost to stain the unit varies based on the door type but typically ranges from $1,700 to $2,200.
Installation: Installation costs average between $1,900 and $2,100 depending on the project. This includes removing and discarding the old door unit, prepping the opening for the new door, installing the new unit, and testing for proper operation and fit.
Interior Casing Replacement: $350 (required for most projects to ensure a seamless fit and finish).
Multipoint Locking System: $1,050 (required for all 8'0" doors for added security and performance).
