Meridian 9-Lite Mahogany Wood 42" Front Door

As a stock unit, the Meridian 9-Lite True Divide Lite Door is available as a 42” X 96” single wooden front door or entry door, but can be customized offering special order custom door configuration options for doors with sidelights, doors with sidelights and transoms, double front doors and double entry doors. The Meridian entry doors feature true divided lite (TDL) Low E Glass that provides natural light to your home, while still providing thermal and energy efficiency.

The Meridian offers an engineered stile and rail construction crafted of a hardwood stave core offering more stability and resistance to warping than solid wood. The Meridian is a True Divided Lite (TDL) entry door featuring individual glass units divided by muntin bars. Low-E glass better insulates your home by keeping heat from escaping during the cooler months, and helps to minimize the heat entering your home during the warmer months.

You are ordering a heavy or oversized item that will be delivered by a freight carrier. Most carriers provide curbside delivery only.

Standard Freight (LTL) Delivery: Your order will be loaded onto a semi-truck and delivered curbside to your home or jobsite; you will be responsible for moving the item from the curb to the desired location. Shipping times will vary based on destination, extreme weather, set delivery schedules to your specific area, and other variables. We utilize a variety of LTL carrier options, and as a result, not all delivery interactions are the same.

Here's what you can generally expect during delivery:

1. Scheduling: Once your shipment is ready for delivery, the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time window. This allows you to plan for the arrival of your package.

2. Delivery notification: On the day of delivery or shortly before, the carrier may provide a notification to inform you that your shipment is on its way. This notification can be through email, phone call, or text message.

3. Curbside drop-off: When the delivery truck arrives at your location, the driver will typically unload your shipment from the truck and place it on the curbside or the nearest accessible point. This is usually done using a liftgate or pallet jack.

4. Signature or proof of delivery: The carrier may require a signature or proof of delivery to ensure that the package has reached the intended recipient. Make sure to be available or provide instructions for someone else to sign on your behalf if you cannot be present.

5. Unpacking and installation: Curbside delivery includes only the transportation of the package to your location. Unpacking, assembly, or installation of the delivered items is not included.

6. Inspecting the shipment: It is essential to inspect the shipment for any visible damage or discrepancies before signing for it. If there are any concerns, note them on the delivery receipt and inform the carrier immediately. If the crate appears damaged, please do not reject the shipment. We pack and secure the contents inside the crate very well to protect them. Exterior damage to the crate or pallet typically does not result in damage to the contents.

7. Responsibility for moving the shipment: Once the shipment is unloaded at the curbside, it becomes your responsibility to move it into your premises or designated area. This may involve using your own equipment or assistance. Large doors might exceed the capacity of the truck’s lift-gate. In this case, it is the customer's responsibility to unload the doors from the back of the truck. The driver will sometimes assist in removing the product from the truck, but they are not required to do so. Our door units are heavy and therefore we recommend at least 2 people be present at time of delivery. The truck driver might assist with moving it into a location such as a garage, but they are not required to do so.

It's important to note that specific procedures and policies may vary among different carriers and depending on the nature of the shipment. If you have specific requirements or questions about curbside delivery, it's best to communicate directly with the carrier or shipping company to ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience.
