Simply close the door. As soon as the door is pulled shut, the automatic latchbolts project twenty millimeters and lock into place to prevent them from being forced back. A quick turn of the key or thumb turn engages the center deadbolt and locks the top and bottom latchbolts together, forming a true three deadbolt locking system.
This system is built with heavy duty mortise construction, a reinforced lever return spring, and a stainless steel faceplate for long term durability. It is designed for both 6 foot 8 inch and 8 foot doors and requires no lifting of the handle to activate the locking points. It features a one inch deadbolt throw, reversible latch, and adjustable handle height for installation flexibility. The hardware groove detail matches the rest of our door lock program for consistent routing and clean installation.
This system is designed for use with a lever handle set with the cylinder positioned above the handle.
