At Grand Entry Doors we offer a large selection of options for replacement doors. Any the doors in our collections are suitable replacements. We also offer full custom design services. Throughout most of the Carolinas we can provide the full replacement service from start to finish.
When ordering a replacement door we will do our best to guide you, but the first question we often ask when working with a customer who wants to replace their door is "do you have a contractor you are working with?" Generally, working with a qualified professional who will provide the measurements and perform the installation provides the best outcome over a DIY project approach.
Purchasing a door as a replacement door typically falls into one of three scenarios.
- Purchasing one of our stock units from our collections. The unit is sold with the stock dimensions and is used for a replacement. This is not often the case, but at times the stock unit without modifications will work. Your installer can provide the frame size of the existing unit and we can work with you and/or the installer to determine whether the stock size unit will work.
- Purchasing a stock that is slightly modified to meet your needs. We can trim the height of the unit in many cases (not more than a few inches total) and to some degree the width. We would need to know the frame size of your existing unit to know what modifications need to be made.
- Purchasing a completely custom unit built to the specifications needed to fit the existing opening. We would build the unit to the dimensions needed. This can be a design from one of our collections or a completely custom unit we work with you to design.
